Al Huda International School ("School", "we", "our", or "us") operates the Al-Huda Intl. School mobile application ("App") and the associated school management and ERP services available through our website.

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, protect, and manage information when students, parents/guardians, teachers, and other authorised users use the App and related School services.

By using the App, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

School announcements and notices

Academic schedules

Examination information

Attendance

Assignments and homework

Fee-related information

Events and activities

Other educational and administrative services provided through the School's ERP system

2. How We Use Information

We use information processed through the App for legitimate educational and school-management purposes, including:

Providing access to School services

Managing student academic records

Maintaining attendance records

Providing examination and assessment information

Communicating notices and announcements

Providing assignment and homework information

Providing information about School activities and events

Providing fee-related information where applicable

Authenticating authorised users

Managing user accounts

Responding to parent, student, and user enquiries

Maintaining the operation and security of the App and ERP services

Complying with applicable legal and regulatory requirements

We do not use student information for advertising or personalised advertising.

3. School ERP Integration

The App is integrated with the School's ERP and related services available through alhuda.in.

The App may communicate with the School's servers to retrieve, display, update, or otherwise process information required to provide authorised School services.

Access to information is controlled according to the user's role and permissions.

4. Children's Privacy

Al Huda International School provides educational services to children and recognises the importance of protecting children's personal information.

Student information is processed for legitimate educational, administrative, communication, and School-management purposes.

We do not use children's personal information for advertising or personalised advertising.

The App does not require precise location information for its core functionality, and we do not intentionally collect precise device-location information through the App.

Access to student information is restricted to authorised users according to their role and relationship with the School.

Parents or legal guardians may contact the School regarding information associated with their child and may request correction, account deletion, or other appropriate action, subject to verification and applicable record-keeping requirements.

5. Information Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information.

Information may be accessed or disclosed where reasonably necessary to:

Provide educational and administrative services

Operate and maintain the App and School ERP

Enable authorised School staff to perform their responsibilities

Provide necessary technical or infrastructure services

Comply with applicable laws, regulations, legal processes, or lawful government requests

Protect the security, rights, or safety of students, parents, staff, users, or the School

Any service provider used to support the App or ERP is expected to process information only for legitimate operational purposes and in accordance with applicable requirements.

6. Push Notifications

The App may use notifications to provide important School-related information, including:

School announcements

Academic updates

Attendance-related information

Examination information

Assignment reminders

Event information

Other important School communications

Notifications are used for School-related communication and are not intended for advertising.

7. Financial and Fee Information

Where the App provides access to fee-related information, the App may display information maintained by the School's ERP.

If payment functionality is provided through an external payment service, payment processing may be subject to the terms and privacy practices of that payment provider.

The School does not intend to collect or store complete payment card information through the App unless specifically required by an authorised payment-processing service.

8. Location Information

The App does not require precise location services for its core functionality.

We do not intentionally collect, track, or transmit precise device-location information through the App.

9. Advertising

The Al-Huda Intl. School App does not contain advertisements.

We do not sell personal information to advertisers and do not use student or parent information for targeted or personalised advertising.

10. Data Security

We take reasonable administrative, technical, and organisational measures to protect personal information against unauthorised access, misuse, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.

Information is handled through the School's authorised systems and services for legitimate educational and administrative purposes.

Although we take reasonable measures to protect information, no electronic system, transmission, or storage method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

11. Data Retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide School services and to fulfil legitimate educational, administrative, legal, regulatory, accounting, and record-keeping requirements.

When information is no longer required for legitimate purposes, it may be deleted, anonymised, or securely disposed of in accordance with applicable requirements.

Certain student and educational records may need to be retained by the School even after an App account has been deleted or deactivated.

12. Account Deletion and Data Deletion Requests

Parents or legal guardians may request deletion of a student's account associated with the Al-Huda Intl. School App.

Because the App is connected to School records and is used by young students, account deletion is handled by the School rather than being performed directly by the student through the App.

A parent or legal guardian may submit an account deletion request through the Account Deletion Request page available on the School's official website.

The account deletion request form may be provided using Google Forms, a third-party form service. The information submitted through the form is used for the purpose of receiving, verifying, and processing the account deletion request.

The School's account deletion request form collects basic information necessary to identify the relevant student account, including:

Admission Number

Student Name

Parents or legal guardians may also submit an account deletion request directly by email at:

info@alhudais.in

Upon receiving a request, the School may verify the identity of the requester and their authority to make the request.

After verification, the School will process the request from its end and delete the relevant App account and associated personal information where deletion is applicable and legally and operationally permitted.

Some information may be retained where necessary to fulfil legal, regulatory, educational, security, or legitimate School record-keeping obligations.

Account deletion may result in the loss of access to App services associated with the deleted account.

13. Access and Correction of Information

Parents/guardians and authorised users may contact the School if they wish to:

Request access to applicable personal information

Request correction of inaccurate information

Raise a privacy concern

Ask questions regarding the handling of their information

Request deletion of an applicable App account

Requests can be submitted to:

info@alhudais.in

The School may verify the identity and authority of the requester before processing such requests.

14. Third-Party Services

The App may use certain technical services, software components, or infrastructure providers required to operate features of the App, provide notifications, maintain connectivity, or support the School's technology systems.

The School may also use Google Forms or other third-party services to receive specific requests submitted by users, including account deletion requests.

Information submitted through such third-party services is used for the stated purpose for which it was submitted and may be subject to the third party's own terms and privacy practices.

Where third-party services process information on behalf of the School, such processing is intended to be limited to what is necessary for the relevant service.

The School does not authorise third-party service providers to use student information for advertising purposes.

15. User Responsibilities

Users are responsible for keeping their login credentials confidential and should not share their account credentials with unauthorised persons.

If a user believes that their account has been accessed without authorisation, they should promptly contact the School at info@alhudais.in.

16. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the App, School services, technology, or applicable legal requirements.

Any updated version will be published through the School's official website or other official School communication channels.

The Effective Date at the beginning of this Privacy Policy will indicate when the policy was most recently updated.
